Women's 3/4: Sporting a 'new' course at Entradero, Anna Wills of Triathletix and I took off and kept quite a nice gap from the rest of the field. While the new run-up was not as steep as the old one, it was longer. Add in an extra dirt climb, I think this course is actually harder than the old one! Anna kept the pressure on me until about 1 lap to go where I could finally see she wouldn't catch me. Damage to my legs was done, though...
Women's 1-3: small field, with 3 of us from the first race jumping into the second. Achy legs (thanks to Antony's drills on Saturday) were held off thanks to a quick sugar rush (1/2 a small powdered donut and a cookie) allowed me to lead the first two laps... unfortunately, the race was longer than 15 minutes, which put me chasing the girl who eventually won. Oh well, fun day on a fun course!
