San Dimas Stage Race
Stage 2 - Road Race
The Cat 2 Men raced strong as a team, controlled the field, counter attacked. Kit Karzen finished 9th, Aaron Schneider 27th, Cory Greenberg 32nd and Stephen Leece 53rd. GC: Aaron 7th, Cory Greenberg 20th, Stephen 22nd, Kit 56th.
For the Pro Men, Danny Heeley finished 104 in a field of 160 starters. Danny is 39th in GC. Corey Farrell was unable to finish due to both a flat and a broken wheel.
Tough day today for the Pro Women, racing in a strong field with some of the top pros in the world including the HTC-Columbia team. Kendall Ryan finished less than a minute off the pack and is 47th in GC. Jennifer Johansen is 57th in GC.
Tomorrow is the Criterium - 6 corners of speed on the palm lined streets of Old Town San Dimas.
1:00pm Men Cat 2 is 55 minutes
2:00pm Women Pro 1/2 is 55 minutes
3:00pm Men Pro 1 is 90 minutes
Also, for the Masters Men, sources say Lawrence Novitch looked great, and raced like a champion.
